Zayed Khan, a name synonymous with courting the spotlight, has been away from the screens for quite some time. Whether by performing somersaults in front of audiences or drawing attention on stage with his flamboyant gestures and antics, he often finds himself at the centre of discussion. These moments frequently spark a wave of memes across social media.

This time, however, it was not a stage performance but a photograph that caught the internet off guard. The image, which quickly went viral online, appeared to show Zayed Khan working as a labourer in New York City. Soon after, it emerged that the image was actually a still from his upcoming project.

Today (March 6), the actor shared the poster of his new series, “American Dream”, on his Facebook page. In the poster, he is seen standing at a station in New York City, dressed in a hoodie layered with a checked shirt. In contrast to his usual glamorous screen presence, he appears subdued and somewhat melancholic.

At the top of the poster appears the phrase “Immigrant Diaries – Episode 01”, hinting that the series may centre on the struggles and lived experiences of immigrants in the United States.

Produced under the banner of Thikana Production, “American Dream” is directed by JK (director) and stars Zayed Khan in the lead role. The cinematography is handled by Saad Al Amin. The project is being overseen by Abir Alamgir and M M Shaheen.

Zayed Khan was last seen in the film “Sonar Char", directed and written by Zahid Hasan, where he starred opposite actress Jannatul Snigdha.
