Are Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau dating?

Pop icon Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have all but confirmed their romance as they were spotted together on board Perry's yacht. Their PDA-addled moments have fuelled rumours of a new relationship just months after Perry's split from actor Orlando Bloom.

Photos published by the Daily Mail showed the pair kissing and cuddling on the deck of Perry's yacht, 'Caravelle', anchored off Santa Barbara, California.

Eyewitnesses recognised Trudeau by his distinctive Haida raven tattoo.

"She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn't realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy's arm, and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau," an eyewitness told Daily Mail.

The two were first seen together in July, dining at a Montreal restaurant during Perry's tour stop, and later walking through Mount Royal Park. Trudeau was also spotted in the audience at one of her concerts.

Sources close to Perry told the media that she is "very interested" in Trudeau.

Both Perry and Trudeau look to turn the pages of their lives. Perry ended her six-year engagement to Bloom earlier this year, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy. In 2023, Trudeau separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire, with whom he had three children, after 18 years of marriage.
