After a two-decade hiatus, Will Smith is set to make a much-anticipated return to the music scene with his upcoming full-length album, "Based on a True Story". The actor and rapper announced the project on Instagram on Friday (March 14), confirming that the album will drop on March 28.

 Will Smith's post features the official tracklist and a few promotional pictures. Speaking about the album, the artiste shared, "Been working on this project for a minute, and I'm itchin' to get it out to y'all."  

The album features 14 tracks, including previously released singles such as "First Love", "Beautiful Scars", "TANTRUM", "Work of Art", and "You Can Make It". 

 The album features exciting collaborations with well-known artistes including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross, making the fans go crazy with anticipation. 

 The rapper expressed his motivation for the album's creation and shared, "That's a long way to say that a well opened up inside of me, a well of understanding of art and pain … all kinds of things that I didn't even know were in there."

 Smith's last album "Lost and Found" was released in March 2005. Since then, the multi-talented entertainer has focused primarily on acting, delivering blockbuster performances in films such as "King Richard" and "Bad Boys for Life".
