Sufi Festival 2025 set to unfold this Thursday

The much-anticipated Sufi Festival 2025 is set to take place at the historic Ahsan Manzil in Old Dhaka on Thursday (February 20). The festival will run from 10am to 9:30pm.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of performances, including, Puthi recitations, folk music (Baul, Bhatiali, and Bhawaiya), Murshidi and Marfati songs, Sufi Qawwali, Sufi Raqs (Rumi Dance), and Sufi Hadra. In addition to the musical performances, visitors can explore various stalls showcasing books, perfumes, clothing, jewelry, games, and an array of culinary delights.

Entry to the event requires a ticket, with the general admission price set at Tk 500. Premium tickets are priced at Tk 1,500, while Exclusive tickets are priced at Tk 1,000.
The festival will be attended by Cultural Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and BNP Vice Chairman Selina Rahman, along with Sufi Mashayekhs, descendants of Dhaka's Nawab family, politicians, academics, and distinguished intellectuals. The event will be presided over by Syed Hussain Shahbazi, President of the Shahbaz Foundation.
