Shironamhin’s ‘Geetikobita Samagra’ launches at Ekushey Book Fair

Popular band Shironamhin, alongside releasing a new song for Valentine's Day, has also surprised fans at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair with the launch of Shironamhin "Geetikobita Samagra", published by Gatidhara Prakashani.
Since its inception in 1996, the band has gifted audiences numerous hits, including "Hasimukh", "Bondho Janala", "Abar Hasimukh", and "Ei Obelay", among others.
Now, in its 29th year, all of Shironamhin's lyrics can be found in Shironamhin "Geetikobita Samagra".
Announcing the book's release, the band wrote on its official Facebook page yesterday, "For the past 29 years, you have been listening to Shironamhin's songs—some through albums, others digitally. Many have connected their emotions and memorable moments in life with our lyrics. What if you could find all the lyrics of Shironamhin's released and unreleased songs, including those from our eighth album "Batighor", in a single book? Now, you can."
"Shironamhin 'Geetikobita Samagra' is available at the Gatidhara Prakashani stall (Pavilion 17) at the book fair," it added.
Meanwhile, the band has also released a new song, "Priyotoma", for the season of love.
Written by Ziaur Rahman, the song's composition and music video direction were handled by Kazi Ahmed Shafin. The video features models Sifat Amin Shuvo, Jannatul Ferdous Bismi, and child artiste Man Bahadur, with filming taking place in various locations across India.
The song was released on Shironamhin's official YouTube channel on February 15. The band has also announced plans to release a performance video and a lyrical video of "Priyotoma" in the coming days.
