Jahid Nirob releases Eid song featuring father and brothers
Popular musician Jahid Nirob has released a new song featuring his father and brothers for the first time. The qawwali-inspired track, titled “Shuqriya Hasanah”, was released on Chand Raat ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The song is now available on Jahid Nirob’s official Facebook and YouTube channels, while the music video—presented by Prime Bank—has also been released on the bank’s official platform.
Speaking about the project, Nirob said that music has always been a shared experience within his family. “At home, we always sang together. My father would play the harmonium while I sang—this is how my musical journey began,” he said. His elder brother Zubaed Al Naim played the tabla, younger brother Hasibul Nibir the guitar, and Mehdi Hasan Tamjid the rabab for the track.
Written by Manzur Elahi, the song reflects on gratitude. Nirob noted that the idea stemmed from a jingle for Prime Bank Hasanah, which he later developed into a full composition.
This Eid holds special significance for the artiste, marking his first after marriage, while he continues to remain active across multiple music and screen projects.
