Voting ends, counting begins

The voting of 12th parliamentary elections has ended at 4:00pm today.

Voting began across all the polling centres under 299 constituencies at 8:00am and continued without a break until 4:00pm.

After the voting ended, counting will begin soon.

The Daily Star received some reports of low voter turnout and very few incidents of irregularities or violence throughout the day.
