‘Will file cases against Ilias Kanchan across the country’

Bangladesh Road Transport Workers' Federation today threatened to file lawsuits against road safety crusader Ilias Kanchan across the country.

"Cases would be filed against him [Ilias Kanchan] across the country for filing 'false case' against Shajahan Khan, if he does not withdraw the case," the federation's general secretary Osman Ali told The Daily Star.

Besides, the federation will stage demonstration across the country on February 18 protesting the defamation case against Shajahan Khan, Osman said.

The federation took the decision at a meeting at its Segunbagicha office today.
