Rangpur medical staff shot in broad daylight
Miscreants shot a staff of Rangpur Medical College and Hospital on his way to office at Ideal intersection of the city this morning.
Victim Ruhul Amin, 45, is a personal assistant to the hospital’s director, reports our Rangpur correspondent quoting Joynal Abedin, additional superintendent of police in the district.
Three miscreants riding a motorbike rushed to the intersection and shot Ruhul Amin when he was waiting for a human haulier to reach the hospital around 8:15am.
The criminals fled the scene immediately after the firing, the police official said.
Ruhul Anim suffered bullet wounds on his chest and hands, the ASP added.
Locals rushed the victim to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital in deteriorating condition.
