Rangamati Jubo League leader shot dead

A local Jubo League leader was shot dead in front of his family members at his own house in Rajasthali upazila of Rangamati last night.

Deceased Kya Hla Ching Marma, 47, was Jubo League president of ward No. 8 of Bangalhali union, reports our Bandarban correspondent quoting police.

Criminals stormed into the house of Kya Hla Ching Marma at Naikachhari around 10:30am and shot him dead in front of the family members, said Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station which is closed to the crime scene.

The miscreants left the scene after confirming the death of the Jubo League leader, the OC said.
