Police detained Nuruzzaman Suruj Mia from his house in Piprul union in the upazila around 8:00am, our Natore correspondent reports quoting Subir Dutta, officer-in-charge of Naldanga Police Station.

Suruj Mia has been elected member of ward No. 2 of the union.
