Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Abu Hena Md Rahmantun Munim has been appointed as the chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The new chairman will discharge his duties as the NBR chief for the next two years, according to his contract.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. He will take charge from January 5 after the completion of the current chair’s term.
Meanwhile, former Senior Secretary of Food Ministry Shahabuddin Ahmad was appointed as the ambassador to Japan.
