Miscreants hacked N’ganj khadem

Miscreants seriously injured a khadem (caretaker) of a mosque in Narayanganj town early today.

“Three unidentified miscreants stormed into my room on Noor Mosque premises and attacked with iron rods,” said injured Khadem Qari Mohammad Ibrahim, hailed from Ladur Char of Sonargaon upazila.

Security guards of the mosque rushed him to Narayanganj Sadar Hospital around 3:00am, reports our Narayanganj correspondent.

“Previous enmity might be behind the attack,” said Abdul Malek, officer-in-charge (OC) of Narayanganj Sadar Police Station.

Ibrahim told this correspondent that he has been working in the mosque for last 27 years and also runs a tea stall in front of the mosque.

He also said that he has no enmity with anybody.
