Minor girl’s body found in Dhaka

Body of a minor girl was recovered from a manhole near her house at Satmasjid Housing Society in Mohammadpur area of Dhaka this evening.

The deceased was identified as Mukta, 6, daughter of Mustafiz, a painter, Azizul Haque, office-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station, told The Daily Star.

Mukta went missing around 1:00pm today and her body was later found in a manhole this evening, Mustafiz told reporters.

“My daughter might have been killed in a planned way,” he alleged.
