‘MCQ to be dropped in exams to stop question leak’
State Minister for Education Kazi Keramat Ali today told the parliament that multiple choice questions [MCQ] will be dropped in phases in public examinations to prevent question paper leak.
“There will be no opportunity to leak question paper if MCQ is dropped in the examination,” he said participating in the thanksgiving motion on the president’s speech.
The junior minister said: “Therefore, MCQ will be dropped in phases in the public examination.”
He also said a vested quarter is trying to embarrass the government through leaking question paper in the ongoing SSC examination.
Kazi Keramat said law enforcement agencies have already arrested some of those involved in the question paper leakage.
The government today banned usage of mobile phone within the 200 metres of any examination centre as part of preventing frequent leakage of question paper in the SSC exam.
