Journo stabbed in Jessore
Unidentified miscreants reportedly stabbed a journalist of a local newspaper in Jessore town this evening.
Three unidentified youths stabbed journalist Ananda Das, 55, at Harinapotar Beel area this evening, Azmal Huda, officer-in-charge of Jessore Kotwali Police Station, said quoting the victim.
Later, locals rescued him with severe injury marks in his body parts around 6:00 pm and rushed him to Jessore Sadar General Hospital, he said.
“He is now out of danger,” the police official further said adding that the motive behind the attack and the identities of the attackers could not be ascertained immediately.
