Headmaster jailed for helping SSC candidate cheat during exam
A mobile court today handed a headmaster 30 days' jail term for assisting a SSC examinee to cheat during the examination in Kaunia upazila of Rangpur.
Humayun Kabir, headmaster of Haragachh Alef Uddin High School in the upazila, was not assigned for duty at Daradi High School examination centre. But he went to an exam room with a mobile phone and was seen helping a student cheat during the examination today, reports our Dinajpur correspondent quoting witnesses.
Later, a mobile court led by Kaunia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ulfat Ara Begum caught him red-handed and sentenced him to one month in jail.
Police sent Humayun Kabir to jail after the verdict.
