Earlier, the SC's full verdicts reached the tribunal around 7:30pm.

Sabbir Foyez, additional registrar of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, told the Daily Star around 6:15pm that the order would reach all the authorities concerned including International Crimes Tribunal and the government within an hour.

The release of the order has paved the way for the government to execute the death penalties of the two key war criminals, he said.

After the apex court affirmed death for the two top war criminals yesterday, contradictory opinions emerged regarding whether the government can go ahead with execution of the death penalty without the court's order.
