Body of a five-year-old girl, who had drowned in a ditch in Dhaka’s Kodomtoli area five days ago, has been recovered.

A diving team finally found her body at 1:40pm today after a five-day long search, Ershad Hossain, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said.

Asha Moni drowned in the ditch full of waste on February 2 and remained missing since then.
