Border killings: Dhaka raises concerns with New Delhi
Bangladesh today raised concerns with India over the killing of two Bangladesh nationals by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Jessore.
“We have raised our concern at the appropriate level,” said Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque.
In reply to a question at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry this afternoon, the foreign secretary expressed hopes that India will take necessary measures to stop killing in the border.
Earlier, the BSF gunned down two Bangladeshi cattle traders and injured three others along Doulatpur border in Benapole of Jessore early today.
