Biman scraps Doha flights for hajj crisis
Biman Bangladesh Airlines today cancelled its Doha-bound flights till August 26 to increase the availability of aircraft for carrying hajjis to Saudi Arabia.

Shakil Meraj, general manager (public relations) of Biman confirmed the development to The Daily Star this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Biman and Saudi Arabian Airlines have so far ferried total 59,122 pilgrims to Jeddah, he added. Biman is scheduled to operate five flights today including two from Chittagong.
So far Biman cancelled total 21 hajj flights due to mismanagement in the sector.
