ACC arrests Ex-engr of Wasa, 6 others

The Anti-Corruption Commission today arrested seven people including a former engineer of Wasa from different parts of the country in connection with various graft cases.

The former Wasa official is former superintendent engineer JM Rabiul Kawser, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the reporters.

He said to have swindled nearly Tk 14 lakh through fraudulence. A graft lawsuit was filed against him with Mirpur Model Police Station in 2014, Pranab said.
