Combating Covid-19: Gonoshasthaya Kendra to set up 15-bed ICU

Gonoshasthaya Kendra is going to set up a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at their city hospital in Dhaka's Dhanmondi, according to a press release.
Founder and trustee of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury is raising funds to this end.
They plan to inaugurate the ICU by July 10 and since GSK is a charitable hospital, the cost of an ICU stay will be much more affordable than other private hospitals, said Dr Mohib Ullah Khondoker, coordinator of Gonoshasthaya's Covid-19 Rapid Dot Blot Project.
The ICU is being set up to assist patients with coronavirus infections in the country.
