Miscreants, impersonating as detectives, mugged Tk 4 lakh from a private university student this afternoon at Elephant road in the capital’s Dhaka.
The victim, Parvez Rana, 25, is a law student Dhanmondi campus of International Islamic University Chittagong and resident of Azimpur staff quarter, his brother Uzzzal told The Daily Star.
Parvez was picked up by three men in a microbus from Elephant road area around 1:00pm, said his brother.
