Another victim of Uttarkhan fire dies

Another victim of Dhaka's Uttarkhan fire succumbed to his injuries early today, raising the death toll to six.
Sagar, 12, a student of class seven in a local school, died at the burn unit of Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at 1:30am, our correspondent reports quoting Dr Partha Shankar Paul, residential surgeon of the unit.

He suffered 66 percent burn injured, Dr Pal added.
Sagor used to live with his mother Purnima, 35, and grandmother Sufia Begum, 60, both of whom died while receiving treatment in the burn unit of DMCH after the incident.
His body was handed over to one of his relatives as the whereabouts of his father is unknown, our correspondent reports.
