Online ticketing for Dhaka int’l trade fair

The authority has made available online ticketing and QR code scanning ticketing services for the 24th edition of Dhaka International Trade Fair that kicked off today for the first time of its kind in a government programme.

Visitors can purchase online tickets browsing this website: http://ticket.e-ditf.com/ to enter into the monthlong annual trade fair.

The payment for the tickets can be done using mobile financial services accounts and banking cards, said Bijoy Bhattacharjee, vice chairman at Export Promotion Bureau.

For this process visitors will get tickets on his phone through SMS.

The ticket price is Tk 30 for adults and Tk 20 for children.

In case of QR code scanning ticketing, visitors can scan the barcode on the fair venue and get instant tickets to enter the fair.

About 25 lakh visitor comes in the fair and of that 20 to 25 percent may avail this digital ticketing services, EPB expects.

“To avoid the crowd, people can take this digital service and we will provide them additional services for it, like separate entrance facilities, to reduce the hassle” Bhattacharjee said.
