City College students’ agitation halts traffic on Mirpur Road

Transport movement on Mirpur Road has been disrupted as HSC examinees of City College blocked a road in front of its campus in Dhaka demanding a change in their examination venue.

They started the demonstration around 1:00pm, Noor-E Azam, officer-in-charge of Dhanmondi Police Station, told The Daily Star.

Their examination venue is Residential Model School and College in Mohammadpur but the examinees were demanding a change in the venue, the police official added.

However he did not mention the reason behind their demand.
