A three-year-old boy died after a wall collapsed on him in Mirbagh area of Moghbazar in Dhaka today.

Sayeem was playing beside the wall around 1:00pm when it fell on him, said the boy's father Abdul Mannan.

The boy was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors announced him dead around 2:00pm, Mannan added.

Sayeem lived with his parents in a tin-shed house near the collapsed wall.

The wall was being renovated, said Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station.
