Kitten stuck in Gulshan footpath slab, rescued

A kitten got stuck inside a hole of a footpath slab in Shahjadpur area of Gulshan in Dhaka today.

A passerby noticed the cat and posted on Care For Paws' Facebook page around 7:00pm seeking help.

Last reported, two to three people managed to get the cat out of the hole around 8:00pm after a frantic effort, Asifur Rahman, one of the rescuers, told The Daily Star.

Contacted Sourav Shamim, chairman of Care for Paws (CFP), an animal welfare organisation, said that they were on the way to take care of the cat.
