Hero Alam caught without helmet

Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam was spotted riding as a pillion without the safety helmet in Tejgaon Industrial Area this afternoon.

He was found by police at a traffic signal at Love Road intersection around 3:00pm.

The traffic official was filming the self-styled hero when the signal turned green and the rider carrying Alam sped away, police said.

Contacted, Hero Alam said he didn’t have the opportunity to wear a helmet as he just came out of a film shooting.

“I couldn’t wear a helmet as I just came out of a shooting,” Hero Alam told The Daily Star.

Kazi Romana Akhter, assistant commissioner (Traffic, Tejgaon Zone), told The Daily Star that Alam could not be booked because the traffic official posted there did not have necessary documents to sue him.
