Paribagh power sub-station fire under control

The fire that broke out at a sub-station of Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd in Paribagh area of Dhaka has been brought under control.

Seven units of firefighters brought the blaze under control around 9:40pm, Mahfuz Riven, a duty officer of Dhaka Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, told The Daily Star.

The fire erupted at the station around 8:35pm, according to the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.

However, detail of the fire incident could not be known immediately.
