Fire at Walton warehouse in Mohammadpur doused

A fire that broke out at a warehouse (godown) of electronics manufacturer Walton in Mohammadpur area of the capital this morning has been brought under control after around 30 minutes of frantic efforts by the fire fighters.

Five fire fighting units brought the blaze under control around 11:10am at the warehouse in Chand Uddyan of the area, the Fire Service Control Room told The Daily Star.

The fire broke out around 10:20am this morning.
