Hit by bus, auto-rickshaw overturns at Farmgate
Three persons including the driver of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw were injured as a bus hit the vehicle from behind at Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in Dhaka’s Farmgate area this morning.
Identities of the injured driver and two passengers of the three-wheeler were not known immediately.
The driver was rushed to nearby Al-Razi Hospital, an eyewitness told The Daily Star Online.
The auto-rickshaw turned upside down when a BTCL bus hit the vehicle on the left side of its rear end opposite to The Daily Star Centre around 11:30am.
The passengers of the three-wheeler suffered injuries in their heads, the witness said.
Meanwhile, on-duty police personnel stationed at the busiest VIP road of Dhaka seized the bus soon after the accident.
