Bullet-hit body found in Badda

Police today recovered a bullet-hit body of a youth from his residence in Merul Badda area of Dhaka.

The deceased was identified as Ujjal, 30, son of Abdul Awal, police said.

The law enforcers recovered the bullet-hit body of Ujjal from the 2nd floor of a five-storey building at Ananda Nagar around 6:15 pm, said Sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp.

His body was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Contacted, Officer-in-Charge of Badda Police Station Kazi Wazed Ali said police is investigating the matter.

“We cannot say if it was a suicide or murder at this moment” the OC added.
