9 promoted to secretaries

The government has promoted nine bureaucrats to the rank of secretary.

Ministry of Public Administration issued gazette notifications in this regard today.

Those who were promoted are Kaikobad Hossain, acting secretary of Food Ministry, Anwarul Islam Sikder, Ndc, Rector of Bcs Administration Academy, Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, Chairman of Bangladesh Petrolium Corporation, Istiaque Ahmad, acting Secretary of ministry of Environment and Forest, Md Alamgir, acting secretary of Technical & Madrasah Education Division, Shubhashish Bose, acting secretary of Ministry of Commerce, Kazi Shofiqul Azam, acting secretary of Economic Relations Division, Mostafa Kamal Uddin, Member of Planning Commission and Akhter Hussain Bhuiya, acting secretary of Ministry of Defence.
