3 workers die falling off building in Dhaka

Three construction workers died after falling from an under-construction building in Purbachal area of Dhaka’s north Badda today.

The deceased were identified as the building contractor Shahjahan, his younger brother Sarowar, 30, and Kuddus, Wazed Ali, officer-in-charge (OC) of Badda Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College for autopsy, the OC added.

Anowar Anowar Chandra Paul, sub-inspector of Badda Police Station, said that another co-worker Shahjahan’s cousin Sarowar, 20, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
