2 held with 27 crude bombs in Lalbagh

Police detained two persons with 27 crude bombs and bomb-making materials from a house in Lalbagh area of Dhaka this afternoon.
The detainees were identified as Belal and Risalat, said Saizur Rahman, assistant commissioner (Lalbagh Zone) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive at a house in Shahidnagar area in Lalbagh and seized the crude bombs and bomb-making materials, the DMP official said.
They also detained the duo from the house, he added.
