CU to donate Tk one crore to PM's relief fund

The authorities of Chittagong University (CU) have decided to donate Tk one crore to prime minister's relief and welfare fund to support the government in the ongoing battle against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

The decision was made after taking consent from all the syndicate members of the university, CU vice-chancellor Prof Shireen Akhter confirmed The Daily Star.

VC Shireen said the cheque will be handed over to PM within tomorrow.
