ShopUp Tech successfully hosted Hackathon “Codeahead”

 

ShopUp Tech hosted their first two day Hackathon event Codeahead this September 14 and 15. The theme of the Hackathon was to create new solutions for small and medium-sized businesses while keeping in mind the challenges they face in day to day activities. 9 teams were selected to participate from different universities, who got to work closely with mentors and experts to bring their ideas to life.

 

The participating teams were from North South University (Team 8086 and Team Triple Zero), from BRAC University (Team Conscience, Team Exception Handlers, and Team Red), from Dhaka University (Team Newbie and Team Ekush), from MIST (Team Atelophobia) and from Khulna University (Team Unity). Each team worked on their own unique approach to handle business challenges, working on solutions like B2B, agro, legal platform, AI learning solutions, automation solutions for restaurants etc. Teams also got to meet guest speakers from MIT as well as some other bigshots of local tech industry
