PC download charts: 'Cities: Skylines,' 'Ori and the Blind Forest'

"Cities: Skylines" builds on strong preview reaction in its first week on sale, while "Ori and the Blind Forest" enjoys a similar critical and consumer reception come Monday, March 16, 2015.

Good reviews and word of mouth buzz for "Cities: Skylines" propel it to the top of the Steam chart, third on GameStop's Pc chart, and second on the GamersGate ranking.

"Ori and the Blind Forest" appears to be the second fresh release of the week, landing in fourth on Steam.

The game has been well anticipated since its announcement in June 2014 and has been similarly feted upon release for Microsoft's Xbox One and Windows PC platforms.

A sale on Electronic Arts games sees not-so-old favorite "SimCity 4" return to the top five on GOG, where first-person spellcasting adventure "Lichdom: Battlemage" is new in at second.

Itch.io's newest top five entry is "Spirit Parade," a romance game with manga cartoon stylings and mythological themes.
