Twelve Clothing presents BUFT National Cultural Fest 2026 in Dhaka

'Twelve Clothing Presents BUFT National Cultural Fest 2026' was held on January 4, 2026, organised by the Cultural Club of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology.

The day-long festival brought together students from 12 universities, offering a platform for cultural exchange and youth creativity. The Inter-University Cultural Competition was a key attraction, with 18 awards presented across six categories.

In the competition, AIUB won the music and recitation categories. Jessore University of Science and Technology secured the dance title. The University of Dhaka won in drama and creative writing. Shanto Mariam University emerged champion in fine arts.

The programme featured music, dance, drama, poetry, creative writing and fine arts at the university's open stage. A fashion runway show, stalls and flash mobs highlighted BUFT's focus on fashion and creativity. The event concluded with a live performance by the band Highway.

At the closing and prize-giving ceremony, Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, attended as chief guest. Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan and actor Shatabdi Wadud were present as special guests.

The festival was sponsored by Sayor Restaurant, Essential Buy Sell and Doel OTT. Event partners included Mbrella, Styleway BD, Focus Cam and Promises Medical Limited.
