BRAC University hosts Vitalizers 3.0, drawing business students from across Banglades
The BRAC University Business & Economics Forum has concluded the third edition of its national business case competition, Vitalizers 3.0, at the BRAC University Auditorium, marking another milestone for the student-led initiative.
Presented by X Ceramics and co-sponsored by Neo Aluminium, with Berger as the associate partner, the competition attracted students from universities across the country. Participants were tasked with addressing real-world business challenges through structured analysis, strategic thinking, and team-based problem-solving. Compared with previous editions, this year's competition demonstrated notable improvements in both execution and the overall quality of participation.
After multiple competitive rounds, Team Fourmula emerged as champions, winning the grand prize of Tk 125,000. House of Aces secured the first runner-up position with Tk 75,000, while Team Daal Bhat finished as second runner-up, receiving Tk 50,000. The total prize pool of Tk 250,000 reflected the growing scale and national reach of the competition.
The final round was judged by a panel of industry professionals representing diverse segments of Bangladesh's corporate sector. The judges included Wahed Aziz, Group CEO of Navana Group; Shoeb Hassan, Chief Business Officer of NextJobz Limited (Akij Resource); Moshiur Rahman, Business Head at Fair Electronics; Hasnain Mamun, Head of Human Resources at United Commercial Bank PLC; and Syed Nuruzzaman Faisal, Head of Business Development at Syngenta.
Designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, the competition required participants to translate theoretical knowledge into implementable business strategies. Emphasis was placed on analytical depth, clarity of presentation, and strategic decision-making aligned with industry expectations.
The BRAC University Business & Economics Forum, one of the university's active student organisations, focuses on experiential learning, professional exposure, and national-level initiatives. Its activities aim to strengthen critical thinking, strategic reasoning, and problem-solving skills relevant to Bangladesh's evolving business landscape.
Since its inception, Vitalizers has grown from a campus-based event into a national competition involving students from a wide range of academic institutions. Through Vitalizers 3.0, the organisers continued to offer participants practical exposure beyond the classroom, laying a strong foundation for future editions of the competition.
