ICAB gets new office bearers
Md Moniruzzaman, a senior partner of ACNABIN Chartered Accountants, has been elected as the president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for 2023.
Moniruzzaman will be the successor of Md Shahadat Hossain, the current president of the institute, whose tenure will end on December 31 this year.
Md Yasin Miah, proprietor of MM Yasin; MBM Lutful Hadee, proprietor of Hadee Lutful & Co, and Md Johirul Islam, partner of A Qasem & Co, have also been elected as vice-presidents of the institute by the members at the council meeting, the ICAB said in a press release today.
Moniruzzaman previously served ICAB as the vice-president for operations and members services for the term of 2019.
He is a board member of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, a member of the academic committee of the faculty of Business Studies of the University of Dhaka.
He has obtained honour's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Dhaka.
