Stocks gained marginally in the morning trade today after it posted five consecutive days of losses. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 1.77 points or 0.03 percent to 5,128.19 as of 11:36 am. 

Investor sentiment was mixed as around 166 issues advanced, 114 declined, and 101 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 114.71 crore. 

Shares of Delta Spinners and Tallu Spinning Mills each surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of Intraco Refueling Station dropped 9 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.02 percent, losing 4.07 points to 14,371.54.
