Stocks gained in the first hour of trading today, reversing four consecutive sessions of losses. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 16.45 points or 0.32 percent to 5,146.50 as of 11:02 am. 

Investor sentiment was positive as around 236 issues advanced, 62 declined, and 74 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 83.90 crore. 

Shares of Delta Spinners and Tallu Spinning Mills each surged the highest 10 percent, while shares of Bay Leasing & Investment  dropped 6 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.17 percent, gaining 25.70 points to 14,379.41.
