Bangladesh wants to increase bilateral trade with Iran: Munshi
The commerce minister meets Iranian ambassador
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi today urged Iran's Ambassador Mansour Chavoshi to take steps to increase bilateral trade.
Munshi made the call in a meeting with Chavoshi at the former's secretariat office in Dhaka.
Bangladesh and Iran—the members of the Oragnisation of Islamic Conference and the D-8—have signed an agreement in 2022 to avoid double taxation, which has played an instrumental role in building a good bilateral relation, the commerce ministry said in a statement.
