Galaxy S9+ pre-orders begin March 8
Mobile phone giant Samsung has declared to start the process of receiving pre-orders for its next-generation flagship device Galaxy S9+ in Bangladesh from March 8, which has launched globally last week.
- 6,500 gadgets will be placed for pre-ordering
- Pre-order process to continue up to March 28 - Each device will be priced at Tk 1, 05,900
In an official ceremony at Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka's Gulshan, Samsung declared the pre-order process will continue up to March 28, and about 6,500 gadgets will be placed for pre-ordering for the local customers.
Terming S9+ a revolutionary innovation in telecom field, especially in camera segment, said Mohammad Shahriar, manager (training and development) of the Samsung's Bangladesh branch office.
The device will be priced at Tk 1, 05,900.
"For the first time, any of our device's price is crossing five digits in Bangladesh market as it has highly improved quality than the previous devices," said Shahriar.
For pre-ordering, customers will have to pay Tk 5,900 and they also can avail 12-month instalments with any reputed bank's credit card.
Customers pre-ordering the device will get wireless charger and headphones, he added.
Samsung has tagged this product with the market's leading telecom operator Grameenphone and if any Grameenphone user uses this device, they will get a huge amount of data for free.
In India, Samsung will launch this device on March 6 and will go on sale in the country on March 16 when the new Galaxy smartphones become globally available.
