Stocks fall for fifth straight day
The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell for the fifth consecutive day today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE, lost 14 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 6,190 at 11:38 am.
Turnover stood at Tk 80 crore.
Of the securities, nine advanced, 138 declined and 91 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, dropped 23 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 18,310.
Of the issues, one rose, 30 retreated, and 16 saw no price movement.
