DSE, CSE trade higher

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, edged up 5 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 6,279 at 11:35 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 268 crore.

Of the securities, 88 advanced, 54 declined and 169 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 17 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 18,521.

Of the issues, 41 rose, 27 retreated, and 49 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 6.8 crore at 11:35 am.
