DSE, CSE edge up in morning trade

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the bourse in Bangladesh, inched up 6 points, or 0.10 per cent, to 6,320 at 11:00 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 162 crore.

Of the securities, 106 advanced, 52 declined and 108 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 16 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 18,651.

Of the issues, 39 rose, 16 retreated, and 28 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.7 crore at 11:05 am.
